The country is opening back up and lots of us are excited – a touch of normal life is returning!
For some of us, we have managed to keep up an exercise routine while in lockdown without much of a challenge.
For lots of others, we may have found that we lost all motivation and willingness to exercise these past few months.
A lack of group classes.
A lack of anywhere to dress up and go.
The stress and challenges that come with living through another lockdown.
If the start of 2021 has not been an active one for you, fear not. There is still plenty of time left in this year to make exercise and movement a priority in your life!
You may be nervous to join a group class because your fitness levels are not where they used to be.
You may be self conscious because you have put on some weight during lockdown.
Let me assure you, there is ZERO judgement in an SOS Fitness class.
Your first class may not be your best, but you must start where you are.
Just focus on you. Grab a friend and do a class together.
If you are nervous to get back to classes in person, you can attend some online classes to build up your confidence and fitness level.
Getting out in fresh air with other people is not only good for your body, its good for your mind, it gives you some breathing space away from the four walls of the house, it can be a social outlet – and you might even have some fun along the way!
